IceFrog the creator of the highly popular mod for Warcraft 3; Defense of the Ancients, announced today that he has been hired by Valve and is now managing a team there. He is supposedly working on something very special for the Dota Fans. No words yet on if it will be a dota remake of some sort or a completely different project all together. A Straight quote from his forum states the following.
I am now leading a team at Valve! I finally have all the resources needed to do some very exciting stuff that you guys will love. I look forward to revealing more specific details when the time is right.
